What is a spider?  It is the digital quality assurance agent of the search engines!  What?  Alright, it is the digital agent, often called a robot, that searches around the internet finding your pages  for the search engines.

It is what finds your web page, your links, your content, and thus is the ultimate source of free, targeted web traffic to your website or blog!

READ THAT AGAIN (in case you missed it  )

Getting things like:

• a robots.txt (kind of a welcome mat for your visiting spider)
• meta tags (quick summary so the spider learns fast)
• page titles (tells the spider where it is)
• keywords (adds fast comprehension for the hungry spider)…

…all in the right place, and with the right information is important for you to feed the spider good food.  When the spider brings home good food (content) to its Google daddy, or Yahoo mommy, and mom and pop are happy, then good things happen to your web page.

You know the stuff like page rank, ranking in searc engines, and such are what keeps free, free, free targeted web traffic flowing to you, in your niche, for your sales to grow.

So let’s start making spiders your friends… so you can and will eat up targeted web traffic for free (and for life!)
