How to Write Targeted Traffic Pulling Press Releases and Distribute Them Online

What is PRWeb?

It’s one of the most powerful targeted traffic resources for you to increase online traffic.  Here’s how PRWeb works:

What PRWeb does is distribute your press releases throughout the world wide web.  This process creates tons of back links for you so you don’t have to spend your time making social bookmarks, or any of the other time consuming methods of getting powerful backlinks.

PRWeb is the most well established press release distribution site.  So much so, that your press release can be viewed, depending on your package, in less than 24 hours, across the internet.

Targeted Traffic that Creates Cash

What is a press release?  It is really just a short article.  However, it is a very powerful short article!

You get to brag about yourself, your company, your latest product, your latest achievement.  Make a compelling release, and your news can:

  1. Entice Joint Venture partners to contact you
  2. Take your message straight to the top of social bookmarking sites
  3. Get you and your company covered by other news outlets
  4. Get you seen by your target audience on other blogs
  5. … And even get your message spreading in a viral fashion

Easy Guidelines for Targeted Traffic From Press Releases

The first and most important step is to write a press release that is newsworthy.  Here’s what I mean:

Like any ad copy you write, you must create an alluring and compelling headline

Create a first paragraph that is just as alluring as the headline.  It needs to be short.  Just 3 or 4 sentences.  To figure out how you should begin, list a few main points, and then figure out which is the most important to have first.

Add two, or maybe three quotes in your press release.  This could be testimonials or similar.

Search through PRWeb for press releases on similar topics.  Model yours from the ones you find most compelling – but don’t copy it!  Do this well and the targeted traffic will arrive quickly.

Getting Started in PRWeb

First, you have to visit PRWeb at http://www.prweb.com and complete the registration

Then review the guidelines in PRWeb.  It’s important to know the guidelines so your press release gets accepted as quickly as possible.

Then write your press release about anything you like.  It can be announcements about your company or website, maybe a new product, or some scheduled event like a teleseminar series.  Whatever you like.

Be sure, just like when writing articles and blog posts, that you include your principle keyword phrase.  Remember, this will be online, and you want the right listing in the search engines.

When you finished writing, you only have to select the distribution package you want.  I recommend on your first effort, to use the ‘Standard Visibility’ selection.  As you improve your style, you can increase your distribution level.

Then you simply upload your press release into PRWeb.  You should include your specific company information, and a unique tracking link.  The link will help you know how many people clicked from the press release.

Then just track your results, and follow how many much of your targeted traffic is converting to buyers.  Of course, you should make adjustments on your next effort, base on your results.

That’s it.  Now you can increase online traffic and buyers with PRWeb!
