Converting SEO to Profits

Targeted Traffic, SEO and Conversions

This is the year you’re going to profit online! I have no doubt.

The best way you can do that is include conversion strategies in your thinking while developing your targeted traffic strategies.  You already know, or should know, massively targeted traffic by the thousands is useless to your business if you can’t convert the sales.

So as promised, I’m including more emphasis on conversions in your journey to build valuable targeted visitors to your website.

Today let’s look a little closer at adding real marketing value to your SEO so conversions to profit will be part of the game.

You might be a bit surprised at what I tell you and where I point you because it’s not likely what you read in the forums, or from the typical Clickbank product creator.  Don’t get me wrong… there’s nothing wrong with being a Clickbank product creator (I have 2 in Clickbank), it’s just that most people focus on selling traffic generation skills by hyping you with profits, but they really don’t show you anything about proper marketing to the web traffic you create.

So let’s get started…

Conventional Targeted Traffic SEO Wisdom (or not so wisdom)

You probably can tell me the standard way you are shown by the guru’s to use SEO for generating targeted traffic or to increase online traffic.  It follows a mold something like this:

  1. Determine your hot market by searching around in Clickbank or other affiliate market place for high selling items
  2. Do some keyword research and find the best keywords for your chosen product
  3. Build a lead capture page and send a bunch of links to it.
  4. Build a blog about the niche and make a bunch of internal links

Does this sound like anything you have ever heard before?

My guess is, your answer is yes … and I welcome your comments below.  This strategy certainly can produce sales because you start with proven copy.

But the strategy depends on inbound links.  Do you know how to create a site that people are actually willing to comment on, or send a link to??

The problem here is the approach is shallow.  Unless you do something more indepth, and more market focused, you likely will not succeed.  If you can’t get people onto your lead capture or squeeze page, then it won’t matter if the affiliate product is the best copy in the world.

A Market Driven SEO Approach

So here’s something a whole lot more in-depth.  It was something I started working on to create TrafficStarterPro, and this past week, I discovered a very great version of it explained by Peter DaVanzo at SEOBook.  I’ll give you the short version here, but be sure to head over to SEO Book to see the best, written presentation I’ve seen.

  1. Choose a strong niche based on a real market analysis
  2. Ensure your niche really has online traffic and the desire to buy.
  3. Know your strengths and weakness,
  4. Position yourself in front of the most demanding problems in the market
  5. Take on the competition by establishing yourself as an “expert”
  6. Develop your niche and include the SEO and backlinking strategies up front.
  7. Write to your audience, not to the search engines.  Search engines aren’t emotional
  8. Measure results so you can evaluate, change, and improve

Simple enough to say, but maybe you’re brand new, and you really don’t know where or how to begin.

If you want to read the details of how Peter DaVanzo explains it, go to SEOBook.  Here’s a brief video covering the keyword techniques he uses…

If you’re not really ready for all the theory mumbo jumbo, that’s fine, that’s why I created TrafficStaterPro and the 90 video training series.

I don’t talk about theory, I take you through the mechanics, and show you exactly what and how to do everything from analyzing and choosing your market and niche, to completing a website that is SEO friendly, but your readers will love.

If you want to get started without theoretical hassles, join TrafficStarterPro today.

P.S. I have started converting TrafficStarterPro to a more dynamic membership framework.  Because it is so in-depth, I may change it to a paid membership site instead of the one-time fee structure it’s under now.  So don’t miss out.  I don’t know for sure when the conversion will be finished.  Getting in now can change your beginnings online today.  Don’t miss out…

I not sure why I’m answering this comment. I know it is spam because you posted a female name with a males name on your email, and you don’t mention anything at all about this post, or even my name.

Also, right in the P.S. is the answer to your question. So you obviously did not read the post. In fact, you didn’t even visit here, you used an auto comment system. But I’m responding here because maybe a few of the spammers will get the idea that spamming blogs does not get you comment posted (at least not with the links in place like you hoped).

    Happy spamming
