In the last post “The New Facebook Traffic Frenzy,” I introduced you to one of the most powerful new methods for creating highly targeted traffic.
Facebook traffic is a major competitor that has lots of room to grow, and it’s a place where you – as a legitimate advertiser – can grow your targeted traffic fast and at a very low cost.
There is a second method for growing your Facebook traffic plan. This one can be done for free, or combining it with the last Facebook traffic method in the previous post.
Here are the very simple steps to getting this method up and started…
Anyone can do this, and if you are marketing in any niche, you need to go there now and start, so pay attention.
Now hear this!
The only place you can market your products and yourself as a niche marketer in Facebook is in the advertising section.
I showed you the paid ads, but you can also create what is called a “Facebook Fan Page.”
The fan page is free, and you can send your marketing feeds or blog feeds from business blogs to this page. You can also post your links to your top products, your product reviews, or you recommended affiliate products.
In the previous post, I showed you how to get to the advertising page of Facebook. Go there now and you’ll see exactly how to get your Fan page.
Once on the advertising page, there is a selection on the left side, near the top.
It says “Pages” – just like the image to the left.
Just click it.
You’ll be taken to the “Pages” page. On this page there is a selection right near the top, on the horizontal menu that says create page.
Just click it.
Now it’s just like making a profile page and you just click on the selections and start creating your marketing page.
I suggest your first page be one with your picture. This is a place where you can start, or improve your marketing image. It gives you direct contact with members who follow you.

As of this writing, my Fan Page is pretty new. I got kicked out of Facebook because I was unaware of the change of rules for the primary profile page. So I waited several months before I put up a new profile. Then I started by following the new rules.
What do You do With Your Facebook Fan Page?
One thing you can do right off the bat, is start including a link to your fan page in every email you send to your list.
Remind your list to follow you… all the time!
Also, if you’re blogging – and you should be – remind your readers of your Facebook Fan Page. Go here to get unlimited Free Marketing Blogs.
Other standard promotion will help too, like creating back links to your fan page.
These are just a few ideas. You can promote your fan page in endless free forums, and more.
Getting Fans in Overdrive
As you develop your Facebook Fan Page, you can start promoting it using the PPC advertising in Facebook. If you watch closely, you will see many prominent marketers doing this. One I noticed today is Matt Bacak. He’s a smart marketer!
Why do this?
Because your Facebook Fan Page is a a marketing page. You should be promoting your products there. I admit, my page isn’t fully developed – and I should put more time in it. But I like writing my blog even more!
Bottom Line
Facebook advertising is becoming highly developed, and remains very inexpensive.
You can really find very specific targeted markets for your PPC advertising, and you can market for free.
Don’t miss out on this, you need to get in now before the advertising becomes saturated.
