Here are 2 things you should know before diving in:

- Review your giveaway closely. All the participants should be from the same niche. If you expect to get targeted website traffic and visitors, as well as valuable opt ins, then the giveaway should be focused on a single niche.

- The giveaway should be strictly limited to a narrow time span. The best timeframe is 7- 14 days. Some say 20 days is ok. Any longer, it is being done by people who don’t know what they are doing.
A long time like 30 days, or 45 or 60 days is absurd and a waste of time. 7 – 14 Days is just were it should be.
