How to Increase Blog Traffic

There are many was to increase website traffic – at least 20 different ways. Some you pay for directly, and some you pay for indirectly. Here you’ll learn exactly how to increase your traffic rapidly, and at the lowest cost possible. It is through the use of a blog website.

Maybe you haven’t been following me close enough to know that I consider a WordPress blog the best website for anyone starting a business online with a tight budget. I know – I started with no budget!

There is no other blogging platform with the flexibility to instantly mold to your personal and business needs as quickly and easily as a WordPress blog. Yes, you might find a handful of other blogs in the top rankings, but fact is, WordPress blogs hands down out-perform every other blogging platform!

There is no major league blogger online today that doesn’t tell you the same thing. Check these bloggers out, if you don’t believe me:

Alving Phang – GatherSuccess.com

Darren Rowse – ProBlogger.net

Well, you get the picture…these are the top bloggers in the world, and they are all on WordPress. The WordPress blog platform software is free. Any hosting company worth a salt gives a pretty much point and click installation for getting your blog online.

Note: Everything I am telling you here about blogging refers to you buying a domain name and getting a hosting company to host your blog. This is not — I REPEAT — not about using free hosted blogs at WordPress.com. You cannot get the same results with free stuff, and you can’t market with free, WordPress hosted blog. OK.

If you have read my free ebook on the best low cost and free traffic resources, you know I (like many others) consider blogging on WordPress a website traffic method. A WordPress blog, if properly setup, will attract traffic without you doing a thing except posting good, highly focused content.

However, if you are like any good, determined business person, you want to do everything possible to increase blog traffic as fast as you can. The good news is, once you have your WordPress blog setup with your host provider, it is very easy to accelerate the increase in blog traffic with free tools.

There are many must have free plug-ins and low cost tools that you can get immediately and make the job of increasing blog traffic nearly automatic. There are even tools to bring you content automatically. I don’t recommend those, because you can’t control the content or the message in your blog, particularly you centerpiece business blog.

So here is step one to increase blog traffic. Buy a domain (using a related keyword or keyword phrase), and get a hosting account. This can all be done for 15 bucks.

When you have done this, you will be serious about increasing blog traffic, and ready to grab this weeks free targeted web traffic tools for August.

Finding a Niche – Do You Have the Knowledge that Attracts Web Traffic?

Finding the Right Niche is like Finging Gold

There are many things that are important to your finding the right niche to go in business online. If you have been following my series of articles, you know this is just one of seven.

Finding the right niche is like finding your pot of gold. Let’s see if you have the solution to move ahead and pick the best, most profitable niche market for you.

Key to you having success is having experience with whatever you want to sell online. Since I highly recommend you start online with information products, your knowledge and experience within your chosen niche will be key. This is true for creating your own product, blogging in your niche, and selling affiliate products in your niche.

You already know that a key criteria for a profitable niche is that there must be problems to solve. That’s the whole point of being in business. So then it is clearly a fact that you must know something about the problems in order to be effective in your chosen niche.

This doesn’t mean you had to spend your whole life doing things in the niche to be knowledgeable and effective. You maybe only started your passion for something only a few months ago. However, if you were so drawn to it that you read up and participate in the action and discussion on a very regular basis, you may well be very much the expert – or at least have all the expertise you need to get stared in your online business.

This is where my previous requirement for you to list your passions and identify problems in your niche comes into play. You see, if you were able to readily identify the problems in your proposed niches, that is a sure indicator you know a lot about the niche.

Now, if you know the resources to search and study to solve the problems, then you you definitely have got what it takes to proceed one of the niches you outlined.

If you know all these things, then you are ready to do the most important thing, and that is to decide on an appropriate business model of your online business. I have an article coming soon to cover this. So don’t be in too much of a hurry to dive in.

There is still more analysis to be done. But if you have determined you have the experience it takes to get noticed in your niche, then it is time to start looking forward and outline the rest of your business undertaking.

Finding a Niche – Can You Solve a Problem?

Finding a niche is a major hurdle for most trying to get started online and make real money while doing it.

I am sure you are like many – as you started online, you were just looking to find a way to have an alternate income source. Then, maybe, you realized that there is more to having an income source online than just grabbing a few products and tossing them out there to sell.

Like any business, you need a niche market that you are well suited for. In previous articles, I covered the best way to brainstorm your initial ideas for niche selection. Now let’s look deeper at what you need to identify to select your targeted traffic filled, profit making niche.

After you have brainstormed your ideas, you want to look closer at your various choices. Here’s what you do…

Since you are starting business online, you should be focused on providing information relative to your niche. Why information? Because information is what they overwhelming masses of people are looking for when the log onto the internet.

Providing information is also how you establish credibility. It’s a proven fact by the top money makers online, that credibility in your niche is vital! So it all starts with providing information.

So let’s get back to your list of niche ideas. Look at each idea and make a list under each.

What? Another list?

Yes, you need to list the problems you know of in your niche. This should be easy if the niches you have listed have any real following and real, massive potential to make you money. If you have enough familiarity with your proposed targeted traffic filled niche, you will have no major challenge thinking of problems you experience, or have experienced while doing whatever your niche does.

Why do you want problems? Problems translate to profits! As an entrepreneur, the reason you will get paid is because you have real solutions to real peoples’ problems. By solving small problems, then bigger problems, your credibility will steadily grow.

Do you get it? Problems equal profits! So be sure to list as many problems as you can think of. The niches with the quickest identified problems, and the most problems are likely to be the top on your list for choosing as your profit making, targeted traffic filled niche.

If you have some niche passions listed that you can’t think of any real problems for, then that is not the niche market you want! Sure, you can have it as a hobby, but not as a business. You have to make money in a business.

Inbound One-way Links – Method 3 Low Cost Targeted Traffic Generation

Hopefully you’ve been paying attention. Well, I have high hopes anyhow. I always had problems paying attention when I got started online. If you can master these five methods I’m covering, you’ll start targeted traffic moving rapidly to your blog or website. This won’t be the only thing you have to do, but it is a big, big part of your targeted blog traffic and website traffic bonanza.

So here we go with method 3…

The least expensive and most effective way to get inbound links moving to your blog website is by setting up a link network to your blog. This is not link exchanges as I talked about earlier.
