Blog Traffic – Method One to Generate Low Cost (even Free) Traffic

Alright friends, let’s getting going. The 5 best ways to create low cost or free targeted web traffic. If I were starting all over again, this is where I would begin…

Some will tell you that a blog is not a traffic method. I disagree. A blog, and not just any blog, but a WordPress blog is a website and targeted traffic machine all in one.

WordPress blog software is free. Any web host worth a salt provides it to you with your domain. You can also download it free directly from wordpress.com.

But read my lips here now: Do not even think that a non self-hosted free WordPress blog or any other free, non self-hosted blog platform will have the same effect. IT WON’T! If someone is telling you it will, they are a scammer or an idiot, or both (or a master traffic expert, and make them prove it!).

The part you must pay for is the hosting and your domain name. You can get hosting from a superior company for $5 a month (that’s $60 a year so you don’t have to do the math). If that’s too much, then you better quit. Because that comes out to 16 cents a day. You can’t buy anything you need or want for 16 cents.

Here’s where I do my website and blog hosting. They are the best.

You can get a domain name for $10 bucks. You don’t have to pay $30 or $40 like some places charge. You can get your domain names at Host Gator also. I get mine from YourCheapDomains because I like the interface for managing the domains. But Host Gator has a good interface also.

So, once again, I’ll do the math for you. This is so low cost, it is almost unbelievable. $10 + $5 = $15.00. That’s it. You have a real website, and real traffic machine for $15.00.

5 Ways to Generate Low Cost Web Traffic – Intro

No pictures, no fancy artwork, let’s just talk about traffic – targeted web traffic for your website.

Without ever reading this post or any of the previous, you already know that the most basic element of generating income is having highly targeted traffic coming steadily to your website or blog.

No visitors – No sales! Pretty simple to understand.

As I have told you before, it takes time and some money to make a steady income. If you are not willing to spend some money in creating your traffic, then you really aren’t in business. You’re just a transient by passer who thinks this might be interesting.

The great thing about an online business is that it doesn’t have extreme costs. My business partner and I started with absolutely zero cash, zero credit, no homes, no nothing. We weren’t complaining we were broke while still having money in the bank we were just afraid to invest. There was no bank account of saved cash, nothing, nada, zippo.

Yet here I am writing this blog and working my way with an online business. Why? Because we took every small amount of money we had, created websites, and started to work on traffic. We did not expect it for free.

The internet is wonderful in that it has so many ways to create very low cost, targeted traffic. You don’t have to empty your bank to get a real business started. So coming in the next series are five of the top ways I use to generate low cost, targeted web traffic.

Some are repeats of what you already read, but I think it is well worth saying again. I will also provide you the resources I use to make these targeted traffic strategies effective.

Generating Web Traffic Using Only Free Methods – Method 4

There is so much to do, and so little time. That is the way I felt in the Navy as I was preparing for every lesson, getting ready for every mission, or heading out into combat.

How did I deal with it? Delegate tasks to others – outsource.

As you go through the tons of ways of generating traffic, you can’t do all of these, all of the time, every day. There is not enough time in the day. So don’t get overwhelmed, just pick one and get good at it. Then outsource it and learn another.

That said, here is today’s method to increase blog traffic or generate website traffic for free. You may want to use this if your are really strapped for cash, but are determined as Danny and I are to succeed.

Write articles full of content.

Article marketing, as I have mentioned previously, has a number of very significant benefits. Here is a list of the amazing payback you get from a properly executed article marketing campaign:

1. You can do it for free
2. You get established as and expert in your niche
3. You get tons of targeted back links
4. You get published in other experts newsletters and blogs.
5. You get targeted free traffic for life
6. You will improve your search engine rankings.

Once you have written your articles, you must distribute them over the internet. You do this through article directories. There are literally thousands of these, and you can find them with a search in Google of the term “articles directory.”

The great thing is, that even if you just can’t stand the thought of writing anything, you can get this done for you at a very low cost. But the fact is, you can do this. You should do this. You must do this if you plan to have a successful plan to increase blog traffic and bring targeted traffic to your website.

The number one reason to use article marketing as a traffic tactic – just look who is doing this. Here is a simple test. In your niche, do you know someone that is highly successful on the internet? Now go to
any major article directly like ezinearticles.com and look them up. I bet you find them.

I hope everyone had a great Father’s Day. Now it’s time to get back to creating more targeted traffic and increase your blog traffic….

As promised, here is another method of generating free web traffic. The third method is back links…

Start building back links to your website

This can be done without spending a cent! You don’t even have to buy a tool. Back links are vital to your site being recognized by the search engines such as Google, MSN, and Yahoo.

But first, let me warn you: many so called “experts” will tell you to do link exchanges. READ MY LIPS – Don’t Waste Your Time.

Did you get that? Alright, let’s continue. One-way back links can be built without ever having to ask anyone’s permission. Plus – they are far more valuable than any link exchange. By doing this, you will also see how having a WordPress blog is so very, very valuable for back link building.

Back Link Method one:

Leave comments on other blogs related to your niche product or blog. Why do this? The simple answer, it works, and it’s easy and it’s free.

When you write a comment, make sure you mention the post and something in the post to comment specifically about. Use your primary keywords when you comment.

Make sure your comment makes sense. When you leave a comment, you will have to leave your name, your email, and your WEBSITE ADDRESS!

Exactly what you want. This creates a link that points back to your blog or website. And guess what! It has the added benefit of readers viewing your valuable comment, and then clicking your link and coming to your website or blog.

Back Link Method Two:

By posting your brief messages and links in as many of these sites as possible, you will build your one-way back links very rapidly. Plus – people find you in the networks by searching the keyword tags you leave. So double bonus! You get targeted traffic, and search engine traffic. Wham!

Here’s where to start. Go to this social networking site, and just follow the directions, and use it to post. Just go there and do it. Everything you need to know is explained at the site. Did you forget? It’s free!

And if you did what I told you, then you also got a WordPress blog. Why? Because there are great tools available to get each and every post you make sent to multiple social bookmarking sites – without you ever having to visit the sites! This does require a very small investment, but one that will save you so much time and create so many back links, and so much traffic, and increase your search engine traffic…. While many of you are still thinking, I can do this for free, here is the next method for those of you that have faced reality. You’ll have to buy a tool, but the traffic will ultimately be free…

Create a niche market newsletter.
