Secrets to Facebook Advertising Approval

You already know, I’m sure, that I would rather advertise anywhere other than Google (like Facebook advertising).  If you caught the previous post, Destroy Pay Per Click Marketing, you’ll understand why.

Sure, Google can provide some of the best targeted traffic around, but you must remember 70% to 80% of all traffic comes from everywhere else other than Google, and it’s much easier to get your fair share.

One place that is all the rave with many marketers is Facebook Advertising.

Facebook ads are pay per click ads without all the sudden changes, and all the bogus quality scores.

In many ways, Facebook ads are even more highly targeted, and much more likely to convert for your offers.

This doesn’t mean there aren’t any tricks to getting your ads up and running.  Let’s take a look right now…

The New Facebook Traffic Frenzy

Facebook isn’t new.  Neither is Facebook news.  How Facebook can make you money and tons of targeted traffic is both new and news.

If you’ve been around for a while, you remember that the “in way” to get targeted social traffic was to grab up as many followers on Facebook as possible, and post all your great ads on your Facebook wall.

There was a little more to it than that, but that’s the old Facebook traffic method.

If you have even the slightest clue, you know you can’t do that any more.  It’s against the rules, and your profile will get shut down if you are direct marketing on your main Facebook profile page.

So, if you are direct marketing on your main profile, and haven’t been shut down… you will be, I can almost guarantee it.

How do you prevent it, and how do you get a targeted traffic frenzy from Facebook in the new age?

There are a couple of ways, so I’m going to cover one briefly now.  You likely have heard about it if you have been doing any paid advertising like PPC (pay per click) on Google or other PPC venues.

Maybe you have even seen some of these new products…

More Free Methods for Generating Web Traffic – Method 5

Traffic Method 1 Traffic Method 2 Traffic Method 3
Traffic Method 4 Traffic Method 5

Welcome back to the targeted web traffic source. No wasting time here, this is a little lengthy, but a massive search engine traffic secret lies ahead…

Create top quality content for your site.

Have you heard this saying, “Content is King”? Probably you have. The reason – content is king! This isn’t being practically screamed at you for no reason. You must write quality content, or no one is going to come back to your site.

Consider this: how many times do you return to a site that has stuff you just consider junk? I already know the answer is never. So follow your own instincts.

There are two reasons to create quality content:

Reason 1: It keeps visitors coming back to your site. If someone comes to your site and finds good content, they are much more likely to bookmark it and remember it some way or somehow so they can come back. This gives you repeat efforts – for free – to sell to highly targeted web traffic without having to do anything but write good content. No emailing, no advertising, no pay-per-click, no nothing. Just good content.

Reason 2: You get search engine traffic with little or no effort other than posting good content. This doesn’t eliminate the need for good keywords. You still must use your best, or most appropriate niche related keywords and keyword phrases.

But you MUST use them NATURALLY in your writing! If it sounds awkward or dumb to you, don’t you think it will sound the same to your readers?

So let’s find some good keyword phrases that you can easily compete for in your blog or website.

Here’s what you do. Do your keyword research. The best completely free tool is Google External Keyword Tool. First do a Google search of a top keyword or phrase from your niche. In the top 10 natural results (not the pay per click results on the right or at the top), pick the top sales site url (not Wikipedia or some video).

Then go to Google External Keyword Tool and do this:

Step 1: Click the radio button that says “Website content”

Step 2: Enter the URL you selected in the appropriate space – you can choose to select the “Include other pages on my site linked for this URL” box if you want even more results.

Step 3: Click the button that says “Get keyword ideas.”

You will get a block of results full of the keywords used by the web site you entered in step 2 above.

Now simply search through the results for keywords highly competed by your competition. Pick the phrase with very high results and go back to the top of the Google External Keyword tool page and click the “Descriptive words or phrases” radio button. Then enter your chosen keyword phrase from your competion, and click “Get keyword ideas.”

You will have results that look like the image below. Pick some keywords that aren’t highly competed.

Look back at your URL results and see which ones your competitor is not using. Pick four or five of these and use them as your primary keywords.

You should notice the sum total of all the searches “lesser” keywords that your competition has been ignoring is likely very high. In this example, the total is over 40,000K searches per month!

Wouldn’t you like to get targeted traffic from the search engines in this high volume that your competition has ignored?

If you write good content, focused on these keywords you just found, you will dominate the search engine results. In the case of the image above, you would be at the top of nearly 40,000 search results per month!

Consistent use of these words in your content will naturally cause you to use other keywords of higher competition and you will also start to move up for those keywords. Before your competition knows it, you are right there on the top with them.

But always remember – you MUST write good content

Reader Request – Getting Traffic with Pay Per Click Ads

You might find this a little negative because I will be right up front with you…

I am not a fan of entrepreneurs that are just starting the search for targeted web traffic to use pay per click traffic as a primary source — unless you have lots of dough to start with.

I can’t teach you to do pay per click ads in a single blog post.  In fact, I have never had great success with pay per click.

When I first got started…

I was like most, I didn’t know how to get website traffic, targeted or un-targeted.  I was easily drawn to PPC (pay per click), and I could not do it correctly.

You probably have done the same as I did – got an experts book, then tried to do it, then it didn’t work.  Pay per click emptied my already empty pockets as fast as I could change the ads.

Then, even as I lost what cash I had left, I hired a “professional” pay per click service, who emptied everything else out of my pockets.

To do pay per click well, fast, and with results, you need good tools.  You need to know what your competition is doing, and then…

You must duplicate it!

So I am really in tune with you.  To picture yourself inside your competition’s Google ads every time you do a search, you only need 2 free tools:

Firefox Browser

PPC Web Spy

You already know what a browser is, and with the Firefox Browser and PPC Web Spy, you can see exactly what Google Adword keyword and keyword phrases your completion is using and the results they are getting.

So, I can’t tell you how to write the best ads for adwords pay per click, but you can have a completely free way to get the keywords that work and give results.

If you are going to pursue pay per click targeted traffic on your own, the get the free tools above.
