There are still tons of programs out there telling you how you are going to make millions using Twitter.

Certainly, you can monetize the Twitter traffic stream to your website.

However, over time, I have come to a few realizations about Twitter and the value of tons of Twitter followers.

You may disagree — and I want to hear about it — but the fact is, Twitter is not a primary income stream.  There are lots of good reasons why, and they should be a bit intuitive.

So first, let me ask you this…

Have you been enticed into believing that the mere act of picking up tens of thousands of Twitter followers will bring you endless Twitter traffic and profits?

Have you seen ads where people offer to do things like add 500 people a day to your Twitter account for prices like $1,000 per month?

These are real ads that are out there as I write.  Some look very enticing, and extremely convincing.  They have great testimonials and the whole works…
